§ We will begin tournament set up @ 3:45 on Friday, March 6th at Ben Davis High School. Weigh-ins start @ 6pm. A new mat configuration will be used to create more room in the field house. They are trying to get speakers in the hallways outside of the field house for announcements. Also will have an expressway line for admission the day of the tournament for people who purchased their tickets on Friday night at weigh-ins. Doors open @ 6:30am on Saturday and Sunday.
§ We will begin tournament set up @ 5pm on Friday, March 13th at Huntington High School. We will not be able to access the gym until after the completion of the gymnastics competition being held there on Friday night. Doors open @ 6:30am on Saturday and Sunday. **
§ There seem to be a lot of middle school competition conflicts with the regional weigh ins on Thursday, March 5th due to bad weather and the rescheduling of meets. We feel that we need to arrange for another opportunity for these wrestlers to weigh in.
§ Remind clubs that ALL wrestlers MUST pre-register for Folkstyle State Tournaments.
§ Mark Stevenson has researched the cost to rent a 26 ft truck with lift for the transportation of equipment to and from state tournament sites. $69/day and 19 cents/mile.

§ Middle School State is being held @ New Castle High School on Sunday, February 15th. Any ISWA member who would like to help is welcomed.
§ Doors open @ 7:30am and wrestling begins @ 9am
§ Wrestlers will be called to staging by weight class to weigh in. Wrestlers will wear a singlet and wrestling shoes when they step on the scale – 5 lb weight allowance is given.
Wrestlers want to move up an age division
§ Joe Willmann is receiving calls from parents who want their wrestler to be able to move up an age division.
§ Discussion: USAW abides by National High School rules in Folkstyle and according to these rules, kids can move up. Does this apply to younger than high school age divisions? USAW doesn’t allow this in Freestyle and Greco. Indiana might need to consider set guidelines.
