TOURNAMENT SANCTIONS

RULES & ELIGIBILITY

All tournaments listed in on this site are sanctioned through the Indiana State Wrestling Association by USA Wrestling.

Tournaments, excluding, ISWA State Finals, are open to all 2006-2007 USA Wrestling members.

USA Wrestling cards are available for purchase at all sites. Proof of age is required.

NFHSA rules with modifications will govern all Folkstyle events.

International FILA rules with modifications will govern all Freestyle and Greco-Roman events.

Each tournament committee reserves the right to adjust the length of bouts.

* “Beginners” Freestyle tournaments are for wrestlers with 0-2 years experience ONLY! They do not serve as qualifiers for the ISWA Freestyle State Finals.

* Women’s Freestyle Open tournaments do not serve as qualifiers for the ISWA Freestyle State Finals.

The following ISWA events are closed to out of state wrestlers:

ISWA Middle School State Championships

ISWA Kids (Pee-Wee/Bantam/Midget/Novice) Folkstyle State Finals

ISWA Schoolboy/girl/Cadet/Junior Folkstyle State Finals

ISWA Freestyle State Finals

ISWA Greco-Roman State Finals

ISWA Women's Freestyle State Finals
