Mike has been a valued coach, official, director and volunteer in Indiana for several decades. Some of the many areas he has been involved in:

 Mike is always present loading trucks for countless events from 2003 to present. Mike is most present with kids officiating on the mat as both a USAW

• ISWA club coach 91-10, 
• Assistant high school coach 05-10, 
• ISWA team leader 06-11, 
• ISWA Transportation Dir  11-13, 
• IHSAA state finals media staff 91-19, 
• ISWA event setup crew 03-22
• Mat official & IHSAA referee 2001 to present

Mike is married to Michelle McCarthy with 3 children: Rachel, Mike IV & Jake. Mike embraces the John Hurrle Memorial legacy of “Do it for the kids!”
